Which political party has been in control the most in the last 50 years?

The Corporate Party with 2 right wings?
Classic example:
Democrat Bill Clinton pushes NAFTA through Congress with overwhelming Republican support and a minority of Democrat votes. No one's to blame if everyone is, right?

:D This country hasn't seen a right wing president since Ike. Do we need to go back through all the president's that have created this mess?

Looks like we no longer have a "Monroe Doctrine" to keep out outside influences in our hemisphere that may harm the USA. Ain't socialism grand:D.

A few whiles ago, I worked with "Pat", who was focused on the "Tri-lateral Commission".
Behind-the-scenes multimillionaire cabal manipulating finances, governments, for one world Government.
Pat,
after all these years, you might be right.
Sorry I didn't listen more closely to your opinions.

None of the above...

I think a hyped or engineered virus (you see how many people panicked after H1N1?) will come out. People will stop going to work, entire infrastructures will seize, supply lines will be cut and people will be desperate. FEMA will swoop in to save the day, have a list of people that they need to send to the camps and help "restore order" throughout the region. Those that vaccinate are rewarded and allowed to return to their homes.

Anyone that speaks ill will of the system or refuses to "vaccinate" will be seen as part of the problem. Subsequent deaths (probably from random poisons inserted in the "vaccinations") will be blamed on dissidents. Neighbors will be encouraged and even rewarded for turning in their fellow man for speaking out or hiding from the system (why go door to door when you can just set up a tip hotline and let the community do it for you?)...then comes the matter of finding those that decided to hide in the mountains.

Cities will be issued strict curfews and rules (i.e. no traveling on foot in groups of four or more, no firearms outside the home are allowed, etc.). Arial drones armed with thermal cameras and raid teams with search dogs will seek out the guys that bugged out to the wilderness. Since each state is on government mandated quarantine, leaving your state (or even the country) is impossible on any type of paved road. Abandoned trucks with registration plates of the people on "the list" will lead search teams directly to hideouts and directions of travel. All communications (especially those done on the radio) are closely scanned and triangulated. Anyone speaking code, using HAM radios or unlicensed VHF/UHF freqs will automatically be assumed as hostile.

It's a theory, anyways.

Ben; do you believe you re-named Luxenbourg Beckerich? I ask because Wiki cites you as the source and has removed the name change.
As to what is gonna happen first:

Actually I believe it's all gonna hit at the same time, though some is in motion at the present time

Fact is our people in government could stand up to anyone in the world if they had the good character to do it. It doesn't matter what sinister organization comes along real patriots could kick their a $$ in no time. Deal is that it's the individual character that determines the fate of the nation. Character matters, it always has but few in government have any.

It's always easy to blame our fate on some unseen organization but reality is its our politicians that seal it.o_O

Wow.. googling me! I'm flattered.

To answer your question: No... about a decade ago, a friend edited the Beckerich, Lux page to indicate that this region of Luxembourg was named after me as a gag. In all likelihood, the region was named after my family, but it certainly wasn't named after me.

Didn't go to the site but the democrats are using the Alinski tactics to destroy our system of government. Hillary wrote her term paper on him and has applied his style of governance in her term as senator and as part of obolas team. Obviously the left has always hated the constitution and that is what drives them to our destruction.o_O

I was having a great day till I read this post :(. Personally there is a lot to contend with out of the choices listed and with that you can only do so much in preparation for some of them. Anyways I have no idea which will happen other than civil war in my place if my significant other does not go to the store soon.

I can honestly say it bothers me that your day is bad because of my thread. I would hope you would see the optimism that people are paying attention and do care about the outcome. I am sorry I changed your day.

The YouTube I put up regards a theory of biological reproduction that has a profound impact on the understanding of why cultures and empires suddenly go tits-up, why Leftists are the way they are, craven lying cowards driven by biological underpinnings to destroy the K-types who are the conservatives of the nation/world.
Putin is currently blaming the US and The Jews for his economic woes, there is now a military stand-off in east Europe and The Gulf between Russia and the western forces as well as provocations in the air, so war is far more likely at this point

Hmm, a biological explanation for political eliminationism...Where have we heard that before?

My father in law worked his entire life in a mill from age 18 to 62. Good steady income and jobs plentiful if he did lose his. What's different today? First there is no opportunity out there compared to 40 years ago. You could quit a job and be hired that same day by another employer. That isn't happening today and there are 93 million Americans unemployed. Which political party has been in control the most in the last 50 years?
I started working full time when I was 17. Part time years before that.

I put myself through college to get two degrees 30+ years ago.

I started out working every crap job you can imagine, usually manual labor - the worst one was the mushroom factory in Salem (those of you familiar with that place will know what I mean - so bad that even illegal immigrants complained about it - the ratio of line workers was 100 illegal hispanics to one legal white guy, the latter were mostly the supervisors and office workers).

Next year I turn 62.

My father worked a lot of crap jobs too - he grew up during the depression. He bought 50 acres of forest land that I can see from the edge of my current property, across the ravine. He cleared it - by hand. He worked until his mid 60s too.

He could usually get a job, but back in the 70s when I was young and had a family to support, I couldn't find even a minimum wage manual labor job in Oregon about half the time. I would work one temp job and then be unemployed for just as long and I was willing to do anything to support my family.

I finally went into the military to show that I was employable (by having training, experience and a work history). I still couldn't get a job when I got out in 1981, not a permanent one - so I used my GI Bill plan to go to college and thereafter getting a job was relatively easy.

My kids, they can and do get jobs almost anytime - they started out small but they have never had to work the kind of bad jobs I did. They have had a much better time of it than I did. I see a lot of "kids" not having to struggle the way I did, if they were willing to do the work, work up from the bottom, and not demand the jobs that require years of experience and pay double minimum wage.

I know older people will say they had it rougher than the next generation, but in many ways that is pretty much true. My parents had it rougher than I did. I had it rougher than my kids (although I am doing better now than they do and probably always will). In general, in first world countries at least, overall and over a period of time, subsequent generations do better than previous generations.

My parents grew up in the depression and lived through WWII. I had the benefit of growing up during their better years when there was always food on the table and they always had jobs.

My grandparents went through two world wars, and the great depression. My paternal grandparents were itinerant farm workers who never had more than an 8th grade education. Every single one of their 4 kids not only got a high school education, but 3 out of 4 got a college education, as did myself and my siblings.

So yeah, I do think things are better in some ways - at least economically - than they used to be, at least in first world countries. Some things have gotten worse - culturally at least.
