I'm loving these answers.

Today I put in the truck
First aid kit
3 road flares - 2 with the Jack, and 1 in the little bed side cubby thing.
64oz of bottled water
24hrs worth of food for 2 people
Package of baby wipes
2 emer blankets and 1 normal cozy blanket
Small hand sanitizer
1 deck cards
Flashlight with spare batteries
Note pad, sharpie, pen
Bic lighter
Knofe

This is all under my rear seat.
In the glovebox/console I have more sanitizer, another pack of baby wipes, another flashlight, another pen, granola bars, a small boo-boo kit, a CAT, and a few matchbox cars my kid forgot he has (the absolute best way to stop a meltdown)

And in the bed cubby thing I have my various tie downs and bungee cords.

I'd like to add a truck gun, but I worry a bit about the legality of this. Something not a pistol obviously.

Dang. That's a lot of stuff. It's important for me that passengers not see any spare ammo/mags I have, but I do have nice under/behind seat storage pockets and I'm considering tossing maybe 2x AR mags and 1xat for my carry pistol in there.
Also I forgot to say I keep a pair of work gloves in the driver's door card.

Yeah I dunno WTF my problem is. Haha. All my "scary" stuff is hidden under seats or in bags, etc.
