The Puma 92 is a faithful reproduction of the Winchester 92 and they now chamber it in .45 Long Colt. I think Marlin still makes a lever action for the cowboy action shooters as well.

The Puma is an excellent rifle, I have one in .357 and love it. They also chamber it in .454 Casull, which would allow you to shoot both cartridges, the .454 and the .45 Colt. They make it with several different barrel lengths, and blued or stainless.

I think Marlin is the best bang for the buck, unless you want it to look more 'cowboy',then a model 92 copy, such as a Puma is the way to go.
IMHO,the metallurgy and fit and finish of the internals is far better on the Marlin.I say this because I"ve seen the insides of my older Rossi carbine. It isn't very pretty on the inside, but I love shooting it.
for .45colt I think the only option is going to be levergun, maybe a Handi Rifle
