Any ideas other than routine preparedness survival supplies? What effects do you foresee impacting the USA and the North West?

    I am somewhat conflicted.
    - On the one hand, I don't think the USA should first strike them because you know we'll be portrayed as the "bully". Given how the socialist media would seem to reflexively want to support someone like Li'l Kimmy, it will be a war with active internal conflict from day one.
    - On the other hand, should NoKo nuke San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland, and Seattle, we'll become "justified" in turning NoKo into a night-lite visible from the next galaxy. America would have to first lose a couple of cities though.

So, NoKo wiped out by an evil villain or a plucky hero...
....Hmmmm, let me think on it....

Either way, find a place were fallout won't fall on you and yours, and get there early...
    ...or not at all :(

I am not really worried tbh, if they hit us with nukes, well your bubblegummed, kinda like prepping for a comet hit.

As I've stated before, if it goes full nuclear holocaust, I want a front row seat.

Honestly, if it were to come to a full nuclear engagement, as long as your outside the blast zone, hunker down with your survival supplies until the atmosphere clears a bit... And make sure you have plenty of liquid iodine to protect the ole thyroid...

Unlikely the USA would ever tolerate a Nuclear armed ICBM to detonate on American soil to appease liberals/the world in order to be seen as not a bully. Who gives a bubblegum what the world thinks if we need to defend ourselves from a nuclear strike. Ask Japan what they would do militarily to a country if it would keep them from being hit with a Nuke.

No country on the planet will benefit from a Nuke being detonated as a military strike on the USA, retaliatory measures would be felt around the world and potentially incite additional conflict from neighboring nations (like China) A nuclear war with China is basically the end of the world.

North Korea will find itself receiving a preemptive strike to destroy its nuclear capabilities and topple its man-child dictator if it continues pursuing a nuclear war with the USA

I would contend that it's not about a country (or countries) benefitting from a nuclear exchange as much as it is about a cabal of individuals who WILL profit mightily, monetarily and in the acquisition of power while reducing the world's population to "sustainable" levels.

There's a master plan for the world being put into effect at an accelerated pace, and that plan does NOT include the likes of us.

Personal observations based upon unease. ...

I have a bad feeling about this. Perhaps this is one of those ugly points in history where a clear and present danger to the Nation must be addressed by whatever means necessary. Any and all means. This sounds horrible and it is. In this case we MUST do it to him and his capability before he does it to us. Sad. Very sad but there you have it.

Preemptive means by extreme prejudice. Try to make it surgical. Keep it conventional. Quickly and totally remove the threat. No more if that is possible. My greatest fear is that because of whatever reasons President Trump will wait too long. No way I would want to be in his shoes right now. How does the guy sleep at night? We can not wait to be nuked.

The problem then is how do we stop a full blown war? Our nation went down that road long ago. Did not work out well for us at all. I hope President Trump gets accurate intelligence. I for one do not trust most news sources and there is no way I have the inside straight scoop. Once our decision is made there is no going back. How do we dance on a sword edge?

    Respectfully.

North Korea doesn't stand a chance. Even if they send nukes our way and they bypass our missle defenses, there's no guarantee their still relatively unproven missle technology will make it. It's Japan and South Korea that should initially be worried. The real concern to me is that any conflict on the Korean peninsula has the potential to spiral out of control into a much bigger one. As far as prepping goes, unless you have a full blown fall out shelter, hopefully you're not in the blast zone, or down wind and have some clean drinking water. If you don't have the needed supplies now, you're probably too late.

This is why that may not be possible. We have one of our own White House "Manchurian Candidates" to thank for this...
    thanks....Bill Clinton.

    2-8.jpg

North Korea appeared to use China truck in its first claimed ICBM test

Those of you who weren't still in diapers at the time may remember a little flap about the "favor" that Clinton did for the Chicoms by giving them certain features of our missile technology.

Flashback: Bill Clinton Gave China Missile Technology

And for those who were still in diapers, maybe the NY Times will be easier to swallow than Reuters:

Clinton Approves Technology Transfer to China

    Now, the Chicoms have ICBM launch capable subs. While the NK sub force is still decrepit, it's only a matter of time until they get spoon-fed Chinese leftovers. {pun intended}

At the moment, the only thing we have left to see is if they have been able to miniaturize a nuke enough to use as an ICBM warhead. We will probably know that right after the big flash.

As for doing it "surgical" with strikes on their existing inventory, they have their launch vehicles on movable launchers which take time to locate and target. That means striking by trial and error. Even with satellite recon, you still have to contend with disguised and dummy launchers.

While I do whole heartedly agree with this statement and your previous statement that "we are the first line of defense", I also believe in my heart that we are enemies of the state... That we, collectively, stand in their way, of them instantly fulfilling their twisted dreams...

"That depends on what the meaning of 'is' is." Bill Clinton at trial.

    Nope I haven't forgotten. Good post+1.

Also haven't forgotten he was banging a skank on company time and bringing disgrace to the office. Also haven't forgotten that Gingrich was trying to get him impeached while he was doing the same thing. It sounds like a set up for a sick joke.

I also remember he got 2 terms. Nice guy.

Personally, I believe China, Russia, some Mid-Eastern countries and the Clintons want the farming, natural resources, and infrastructure of this country in one piece. Not all in sand, glass, and smoking shadows. China is going to slap NoKo beside the head. Do you think Iran is paying close attention to all of this? If I'm wrong, then it's been a real treat knowing all of you and we'll see you in the next life.
