Welcome aboard!

To answer the question, do you mean Crater Lake as in a National Park or something? Open carry there? The answer is YES. They also now allow concealed carry and for that one...they go on the state rules for the state where the Park IS. See the PDF. NOTE: This PDF only applies to National Parks and is based on the 2010 law.

Welcome to the NW Firearms forum by the way!

Yup.

Just a cordial reminder to all, be extremely mindful and aware of rules of carry in buildings inside National Parks.

Most are no go (ranger stations, visitors centers, some concessions etc), as well as on tours, park buses etc.

Campground *should* be fine. Camp registration office/store? Unlikely.

& a hearty Welcome! OP.

Open or concealed, National Park carry is strictly aimed at self-protection. You will never pull or use that weapon unless your life is threatened. Target shooting? Go outside the park or the rangers will come down on you like a load of bricks. It's a good law, all in all. You can feel safe in a National Park now.
