is their like auctions out their for them or do they just melt them down? anyone know?
it is LIKE dude. you LIKE have to get a clue. Cause it is you know, LIKE really important that you check with the cop shop to find out as different LIKE places, LIKE you know, do things differnetly.
Like the first response said- ask your local people, everyone does it different. I asked my locals and they said all seized handguns are destroyed (if not needed for evidence in a case, etc.) but they throw 20+/- rifles&shotguns into loose bundles, then auction them off to local FFL's who have applied to be able to bid on them. Odd that they decide to sell the longguns but send the handguns off to be destroyed. Probably more politics than common sense on that.
Call the cop shop, thats probley the only place you`ll get an answer
They melt them down and then turn them into new police officers.
Dan-Dee sales, right here on this site sells police confiscated guns.
But department or city/county policy dictates that they must be auctioned, so he has used gunbroker listings.
He has posted alerts here when he does it.
Maybe they'll chime in here.
Yeah gunfix,I have gone into LEEDs when he just bought a ship load of guns, both police and confiscated guns.
I bet I looked like a kid in a candy store, everything you could imagine on that counter.
The shop that shut down bought the police guns from P.A.I think he retired with about 10 Beretta 96s
I don't get why you think this is odd.
Hand guns are obviously more evil then long guns.joke
No,which one is used in crimes more? That's why they destroy handguns.
i think they give them to eric holder and he ships them off to his mexican friends so they can come in an wage war with us in the near future when his friend obama sell our country to mexico.
I KNEW IT!!! :bluelaugh:
You might want to read RCW 9.41.098

Or make as much as you can
so thats that new police officer I heard about? the liquid metal, shape-shifting T-1000
bubblegumzer steel cuts them up for Eugene pd and lane co sheriffs. Sad to watch.
Yup, buy it cheap and stack it deep.
They are making RoboCop. :bluelaugh:
But it's true about melting them down. Just like all the firearms that are seized at the boarder.
Gunfixx, wait till California Fish and Game finds out you polluted the bay, they are probably figuring out how to have you shackeled and brought back to the scene of the crime. They no doubt have an obscure regulation somewhere that covers your dumping....Spad
