I think a bigger problem is gonna be loss of purchasing power from $$$ trillions in unearned liquidity they just pumped into the economy. Maybe our only saving grace will be that the rest of the world is just as bad or worse off than we are.
What do you think will be the hot item
Your 401k will tank. Mine is already moved to safe investments with zero in the stock market.
God I hope so!Actors and actresses they will all be moving to Canada and Australia or so they keep telling us.
OK, I'm intrigued....
.... where did you move the 401k to?
Cash is what you should stock up on. It will be in short supply. If you have not already done that, it may well be too late now.
If Biden wins, the stock market will drop.
The usual things that are worth their weight in gold at times of crisis;TP shortage came out of nowhere during the virus scare.
In the days following the election, there WILL BE societal unrest and violence in the cities no matter the outcome. What do you think will be the hot item to have that will disappear off of shelves?
Kleenex if Biden loses? Medical supplies? Canned chili?
I see what you did there.Contractor grade trash bags and cable ties.
I don't buy the increased civil unrest prognostication.
I think Biden will win, and I think the Senate may fall to the democrats.
At that point, I think guns and ammo supplies will get even worse. Not sure what else will fly off the shelves.
I don't think the far right will erupt in violence. Not sure what the far left will do, but I don't think their violence will increase; it will either stay the same or decrease, most likely the latter.
The usual things that are worth their weight in gold at times of crisis;
Ammunition/firearms
Cigarettes ( buy several cases, even if you don't smoke)
Alcohol (people have been bribed to do pretty stupid things for a bottle of hard liquor, in tough times)
Gasoline/ diesel/propane.
Non-perishable food (think rice and oatmeal)
Vitamins
Warm clothes.
Sleeping bags.
The list can go on and on.
