95 Civic

220,xxx when I bought it three years ago. My commute is 140 miles round trip most days

282,xxx as of Friday.

XADO'ed the engine, trans, fuel system when I bought it. Haven't spent anything more than oil changes and fuel since.

She's been a gem, but I think she's gonna need some stable rest soon:(

I'm always curious to know what everyone drives.

I have a 2000 Toyota 4Runner Limited with an ARB Bull Bumper and a Warn M8000 winch. While I love owning it, I don't drive it enough, so it's up for sale.

Next is Jenny's car, a 2002 Hyundai Accent. One of the best decisions we've ever made was purchasing this car. Jenny has a 50 mile round trip commute and the 38MPG highway really takes some of the pain away from the pump. I know why these cars sell for $8k new, and it's not because they're bad cars. Working on them, you can see how they streamlined the assembly process to the point where everything fits together like lego's. Very smart, and good for me when I'm working on it.

(No photo, you guys know what these look like)

Third is my 1989 BMW 325i convertible. This is the fifth or sixth E30 BMW Jenny and I have owned, and they really are amazing little cars. I pulled the motor out of it to reseal all the gaskets last year and as of today, the engine is still apart. Hopefully it'll be done in time to enjoy the last bit of summer.

Fourth is this 1991 BMW 525i. I bought this from the second owner with 123,xxx miles on it. It sat for quite a while and no joke, must have had a 1/4 inch of leaves and dirt in every crevice possible. I was literally shocked once Jenny and I got it to the shop and cleaned it up, it's one of the cleanest and straightest E34's I've ever seen.

Ancient thread that I just noticed. I also love the old beemers and currently have a 96 325i 4 door 5 so which i converted to a 4 door little pickup, 96 328i convertible, and 95 740i. Some of these cars u can get dirt cheap and are fun to drive and own if they have been properly maintained. I also like old Mercedes s class and coupes (don't own any anymore but have had lots and enjoyed them all) and old Porsche 928s (currently have 3).

Moved into another small car.

O my sweet goodness ... BoBo I don't know how to tell you this …. both those green monsters are …. Well, gulp they are …… Corn Binders! I'm sorry, someone had to tell you …. Poor innocent Clown and all!
One is a western star, new one is an international. I miss the western star cause those are real trucks. But the international has a cummins instead of a detroit, and doesn't leak coolant all the damn time. Also actually has room for me to sleep in.

But I can say... At least its not a volvo. Even if their automatic trucks are better, give me any American made truck over that!

Shouldn't the International have an International engine?...and Volve IS an American made truck. GMC-Volvo-White. Only one overseas company in that trio.
Fancy new truck. Congrats on your latest ride. :s0155:
