You could leave, but slaves are not allowed to leave the plantation completely. The bankster IRS attaches itself to you like a barnacle no matter where you go. Every obstacle is there to stop you from leaving, taking any assets with you, etc. Every month, escape is less likely.

If I spoke Spanish, could keep all assets, and had connections in South America I'd leave next month. We are Germany right now circa 1932 and it is going to get worse and worse. Unfortunately, I am a creature of habit and wouldn't know what to do in a foreign land. Anyone that has the means however would be wise to get out of Dodge while you still can. Instead, like a dunce, I'll sit here in the eye of the hurricane hoping the storm won't start moving in the near future.

Frame of reference: Terminator 1; when all that was left of the terminator was the upper torso crawling toward Sarah Evans...

That is the level of focus & determination this country needs from it's patriots (good times and bad).

I won't leave, I won't give up, I won't surrender; and they are going to have to literally squash me in a hydraulic press before I quit.

Why should this era/generation be exempt from the sacrifices for freedom; I cannot imagine what the WWII/Korea/Viet Nam soldiers (and their families) were thinking when WWI was supposed to be the war to end all wars.

This is our moment in time when we decide whether or not to stand and fight; will we?

We can still fix this mess at the ballot box; this is still the best country on earth.

It is Sarah Connor (lol - sorry, big fan) and politicians are only there to give you the false belief that you have a say, the illusion of freedom. but of course you do not. You have owners. They own you.

Just like the Model 101 Terminator in the crusher, you can reach all you want, but you are reaching in vain. You will be crushed and your light will expire.

A ballot box means nothing when all the viable choices for you are hand picked and they electronically control the voting. All rigged, all fake. Our one-party, two-headed system of stage actors jockeying for who gets the most perks and payoffs.

All important politicians are mere puppets, bought and paid for; they could care a less what you want/think since you are nothing more than common stock, a human resource worker bee in the London sub-corp aka The United States of America.

America is done, due to decades of planning and execution by the real owners of this country, the Euro Oligarchs that never really relinquished control over us. The day/date of the collapse has already been determined by them and they will leave us clutching worthless dollars with a dumb look on our faces. We are so easy.

When the collapse comes we will simply transition from a Clandestine police state where people falsely believe they are free, to an in-your-face style of tyranny. The greatest fall of a nation in human history is only months or short years away.

Agreed, the ballot box is not gonna fix anything other than keep what is truly a sham to continue (leaders, whether self appointed or 'elected' & the belief systems behind such Rhetoric is condescending to any sort of actual freedom.) Politics is never good for anyone that doesn't want to be a slave. Even justified removal of all politicians & government 'authorities' won't fix it. Not because it's impossible but because people all to often think another form of government is the way to fix some other form of broken government. That never works because government is always gonna be the middle man that those actually in charge use to their advantage. Any belief system that leans on the idea that there needs to be some in control while others obedient will be challenged eventually & the ones in control will someday be placed into submission. If not by man here, well then by whatever you want to call 'it'.

Not any government, country or even family is infinite. All will one day be destroyed no less than those they destroyed under them. Yeah some things endure longer than others but 'nothing' truly lasts forever. Thankfully.

Ah, Sarah Evans is the C&W singer...funny (I adore them both); one of them Sarah's...

I think I understand the caricature you are illustrating BG; I agree that the country isn't the same as it used to be. Myself, I have to go back to DD Eisenhower to find a truthful president. If there was a country better than USA, people would be flocking to it like when the immigrants came here in the 1800s, but there isn't; and we find ourselves here and now, with a very powerful foe.

The point(s) I try to convey in these forums is that the tenets of life are the same no matter what the situation happens to be. Family is family, health is health, and faith is faith etc., its all relative to some form of measurement based on the past or ideal of the future.

If we were to stop our history books on this day, we will never see the natural cycle that is actually occurring (Joseph Schumpeter's "creative destruction"). It has to be this way; I pledge to come out of this stronger-despite.

If we are to go back to the pre-industrial or even the pastoral lives our forefathers lived, that is OK with me.

It won't be Little House on the Prairie unfortunately.

More like Planet of the Apes and of course only the Apes have the guns. Your individuality wiped away for the good of the collective. Step out of line as a slave and you will be 'terminated'. A full on dictatorship (puppet of course), martial law; comply or die sort of deal.

Economic Collapse doesn't just mean you will be doing just poor financially. Or that you will get to move out to the country and live the quiet life LOL. It is the giant leap toward open hell.

There will be two classes. The extremely elite who plotted all of this and us. Us = literal minion slave workers under the boot of absolute tyranny.

Prepare mentally for the transition and perhaps you won't have it as bad as those now who live in Normalcy Bias and believe the debt ponzi will go on forever and ever. It lasted 40+ years which is absolutely amazing and we were very lucky to live during this time where everyone else suffered globally and we enjoyed the bubble and got comfy and fat over it. That is coming to an abrupt end though.

We ignored all the Founders warnings about the financial elite and now we get to pay the price for our apathy.

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered"

Thomas Jefferson

As it turns out the government has ordered 2b rounds of .40S&W ammo, since it on average takes somewhere between 75-100 rounds for the average gaggle of cops to be able to hit a suspect 3 times. That's assuming they don't spend any time practicing to bring it down to about 70-90 rounds per suspect. Even then, that really only gives them enough bullets to wound and maybe kill 20 million people.

The fact of the matter is, every police department in the country is outnumbered by the population they serve typically by 10-20k, and the local police outnumber federal law enforcement by at least 1000:1.

Lets look objectively, 1% of the US population is 3.5 million people. That is more than twice the number of the chinese PLA, PLAN, PLAA.

Fact of the matter is, fighting an armed conflict to take control of the US is a losing proposition for any government. Therefore, the "soft" avenues for taking control have to be used. However for too long everyone who puts liberty first has been out to pasture, while the control freaks have gotten onto every elected board they can find, or appointed to every board that exists by their wacko friends who hold elected office.

Voting is great, and it's a powerful weapon. However it's getting to be time to do more than that. You need to think about running, or finding someone who you can run. It's not enough to sit around and b**** any more.

So enlighten me please, which would be your country of choice that doesn't take the liberties from its people? Looking forward to go there! In the mean time, after having lived 30-some years in pretty much new-style-socialist Western Europe, I find the USA in ways still a beacon of light in a dimmer and dimmer world. The light needs to be rekindled continuously, and experiences pressure, but it's still there.

I'm sorry, but with due respect, I don't find it compelling to point to other countries and say, "It could be worse." This is our country, and we should have it the way we want it, regardless of what other countries do. That's how we remain the "beacon of light."

I like Holland. I like Germany. But I like us better.

Everyone hasn't been brainwashed or corrupted yet......we are at a tipping point however. I'm thinking less than one generation, A lot less if immigration reform goes the way it seems to be going. The future is the children. Talk to them, teach them the things the public schools don't. In the meantime hold the line by voting and the other things. It slows things down if nothing else.

OLDNEWBIE makes an excellent point: It's generational, and young people learn what they are taught. I get the point about public schools, but what do charter schools and parochial schools teach about firearms? How about local private schools like Catlin Gabel? Are they any better?

I know, I know: Your kids went to some super small Christian school or were home schooled, and all was a bed of roses. I'm talking about larger schools for the most of us. What do they teach about firearms? Can you recommend a non-religious school that has a firearm-friendly curriculum in the Willamette Valley? I'm a single mom and home schooling is out of the question.

OK; name a country with the SAME standards of living, and equal or lesser amount of taxes; and are just as firearms friendly... I know there are a few where firearms are more accessible, yet the taxes and such are ridiculously higher and standards are quite different....

Panama comes to mind as having fairly low taxes and they allow private ownership of guns. You must pee in a cup and be tested for drug use first.

It isn't so much about the here and now. We have it pretty good now because we are living in the eye of the hurricane. When the banksters pull the plug on the Global Economy we will most definitely have it the worst though. When the debt ponzi bursts we are looking at below most third world status. In the global economy we are definitely the caboose, the parasites if you will.

So it isn't so much about escaping conditions here now. It is about escaping the Great Depression ever; the greatest transfer of wealth the world has ever seen; right here, coming in your lifetime and absolutely in your children's lifetime.

Even if the collapse takes a while, the chance that you will have gun rights or low taxes in this country ten years from now is very low at best.

If we paid 100% of all our incomes in taxes and froze all spending it would take 22 years to pay off our phony debt to the Euro banksters.
