Loaded up 500 rounds of 9mm on my Hornady press. Also I reloaded some 338-375 Ruger rounds, I had a bad batch of Winchester primers that were not wanting to ignite and so I had to pull about 40 bullets and deprime the bad primers and reprimed with Federal GM215m's. Hopefully this corrects the spikes and drops in speed I was getting and my speeds will be more consistent.

Nothing yet. Planning on 500 or so .45acp. Now have a running tally. .30-30 400, .223-5400, 30-06 600, .45-70 385, .308 500, .38 spell 1000, .380 acp 800, 45acp 2150, 9mm 2800, .357 1000, .45 long colt 400. .22 lr 4500 (DIDN'T LOAD .22'S) Still have empty cases 3000 45acp, 5000.223, 9mm 4000, 300 .30-06, 200 .308. 100 .32acp. Don't shoot this one much my .32 colt new police was a gift from my aunt in Carson City about 45 years ago, and it was old then, mfg about 1910. It was a service revolver greatly underpowered for a service gun. Anyway it will probably take a couple months to load all the empty cases I have. The biggest problem is jacketed slugs are getting spendy. I can hard cast the revolver/pistol slugs, but the rifles need copper jackets.

That's awesome!! I know this is an older post, but came across it. Is it pretty easy loading 450? How many times fired do you get out of a casing?
I load them until they crack. Necked cases I measure with dial calipers, every time I load them. Not so much with straight wall pistol/ revolvers not so much until after 4 or 5 loadings. The .45 acp are the none that stretch.

Well, I was decapping some 243 and 30-06 when this happened.

So I had to stop that and rebuild it so I don't have to worry about it anymore. And here's the new reloading platform.

decapped a bunch of .45acp, and sorted into large and small primers, sorted the rest of the range brass. Waiting on some arbor shims and a few other odds and ends to upgrade the press and make it run better... 3300 147 grn poly flat points on the way. Scored big for the .380 project, a pound of hp38 and 1000 federal small pistol match primers!

Bunch ol' 9mm pills.
After loading a few thousand on the turret press, I forgot how nice the progressive press really is.

el' Cheapo Lee. After I finish loading another 1,000 9mm this press will have paid for its self. in savings over store bought.

Today was a good day.

Yes, they're straight walled so pretty simple. One has to trim them. 37 to 40 grams of powder and I use Lil Gun. My rifle likes them on the hotter side. Fun to shoot. I only have the five round mags tho. I haven't had a split brass yet with 4 times but I don't shoot it everyday as they're not cheap to shoot.

Loaded 20 .308 Win. Cases yesterday for a ladder test with 125 gr Speer TNT and Alliant Reloder 10x. Then loaded up 100 mild 5.56 cases with Hornady 62 gr BTHP and 24.8 gr of Ramshot TAC.
Then got a Facebook notice that my gun club was closing our range due to covid-19 shelter in place orders from the country's worst (or next to worst if you live in Oregon ;)) governor. While I understand the importance of not spreading the virus, I was really looking forward to some range time tomorrow. I am running out of boxes and room for loaded ammo!

Ammo cans, I'm not talking the little bitty ones....
Think the 20mm cans...:D
