Casted 350 NOE 460-325 RNFP GC and 200 MP 433-640 Light HPGC yesterday. Today about 400 MP 411-220 HPGC and about the same in an MP 413-265 RNFPGC and HPGC.

Also casted about 500 EA MP 32 HBWC and 314-100 HPGC with 30-1.

Loaded up 50 rounds .45 colt yesterday. Wifey loves that Rossi lever gun! 8.5gr W-244 under T&B 200gr coated slugs.

Caveman is in fishing mode for the foreseeable future, reloading has been put on the back burner for now.
GO-Gettum' Brother!!! :D

Wifey and I took a drive, just for the heck of it, to The Lewis river Hatchery last Friday. Shoulder to shoulder, pretty much on the hatchery side. Saw one guy headed to his car with a fish, salmon presumably, maybe 18"-20". None ON in the 20 minutes we watched.

Rain held off long enough to shoot at lunch. Highest load averaged 2296 fps. Not bad out of a 16" barrel. Another 0.2 grs should put it over 2300. Hornady factory ammo using the same bullet for 45/70 only shows 2025 fps from a 24" barrel.

Loading up a few of the smk 169gn. Wanna compare them to the berger hybrids this weekend.

Been thinking of picking up a box of a-tips but im worried they will be awesome and want more 😆. $$$

38 Super's done. I'll take some to the Bowling pin shoot Saturday. I'm thinking I'll bring the 12 ga along and shoot trap and 5 stand after the bowling pins. Now on to bulk 9mm. Then some 32's for a customer. More primers to arrive on Friday.

Loaded 50 rounds of 10mm; 180gr Berrys FMJFN, 5.9gr Viht N340, Federal LPP for possible use in USPSA matches. Tested ~30 rounds at range, accuracy was excellent and recoil was noticeably softer not so snappy. Need to find a chrono to verify PF before loading more.

Well, she likes the 169 smk @42.5 gn varget id say. Loading up 100 more of these today.

Calipers zeroed at .308

I recycled a bucket of defective brass yesterday. They wouldn't accept the 90 pounds of primers that I had, I do not know why and they didn't give an explanation.:eek::eek:
I know where I'm not going back to recycle anything.

Maybe they saw some of the silver ones (nickel plated) and thought you were trying to pull a fast one, claiming they were brass?

We are talking about spent primers, correct?

I just expanded the picture and see they are spent.

Crazy they would say no, they are made of the same quality of brass as the cartridge itself.

I mix up all my brass, rifle, pistol, .22 and spent primers in the same jug. I'd be hurting if the scrapers around here said no.
