I prepped 40 308 TW cases yesterday and was getting my RCBS 1500 powder dump scale ready, but the damn scale decided to go bonkers. It looks like I'm back to the balance beam again. The funeral for the scale is this afternoon.

I finally had some me time and was looking through stuff that needed finishing.

I finished up a 1 pound jug of IMR3031 (about 3/4 full) which yielded 210 rounds of 223. I used new Winchester cases, CCI450 primers, Hornady 55g FMJBT pills and 23g of powder. This has been my go to load for general shooting.

Also loaded the remaining 50) .308 Hornady 125g HPFB bullets, (300BLK) with CCI 450 primers, 16.9g of W296, and my converted cases.
These are for SD/HD.

I grabbed my misc powders that were 1/2 or less full and built up similar FPS loads for my AR. It worked out great for a few reasons... I fewer powder bottles filling up the shelves & I was able to fill up my empty AR mags with all the new product.

Items previously loaded are still ready to go, & now all 223 mags are on standby as well :D

Yesterday was 1000 44-40 200gr RNFP, today it's 1000 32 H&R 100gr RNFP, on deck for next week is1000 10mm 180gr TC, 3000 9mm 124gr JHP, 1000 41 Mag 210gr SWC, 1000 38 Special 158gr SWC and 1000 38 Super 124gr JHP. Did I mention I own an ammo business?

'Boering' old carbine - I've posted stuff about it here before a while back - you could also look at my Youtube movie - tac's guns Boer war carbine. I've traced the owner, and the action that resulted in him having to surrender it, too. :D
I'll have a look thanks! I found an American Rifleman article also that was interesting.
