any of you guys in Albany looking for a gym partner? I am fat and tired of being fat.

Having a partner is the best for me - it's tough to do my full workout when my wife gets busy and can't make it into the gym.


If you can not find someone here, I would suggest you pick a gym you want to go to and pick a consistant time to go.

You will meet others that workout at that time and i have seen many people pair up after a few conversations to get to know each other.

Wife and her daughter walked a co-worker's dog yesterday. I went too and thought the trail looked excellent for knobby tires. So the mountain bike is in the truck today and off I go. I'll miss having this option in a month when it's 100+ every day, and smoky.

Speaking of mountain bikes, I had the same revelation a couple weeks ago on a more advanced trail. Man, talk about perishable skills! It didn't look like much on foot, but it's been a few years since I was at peak competence on the technical stuff - and I'm not anymore. Kinda stuck in that middle spot right now where I don't feel entirely comfy with my feet in or out of the power grips on my pedals.

Gotta go work on that...
 
I've been doing keto and hitting the gym for about 3 months and have lost around 20 pounds. I'm always on the lookout for good keto items and came across one at the Spokane airport on Thursday. Another guy on keto had the girl at Starbucks make a custom order and she let me try the leftover and it was delicious. She wrote down the recipe for me and I've included a pic below for my fellow keto dieters on the forum. Only thing I would do differently is do half heavy cream, half coconut/almond milk to cut down on the calories.

Giving the back a little rest - chest hasn't been hit much this week so it got hit hard today.

Incline Bench - 4 sets. Heavier then normal, I got a questioning look from my wife as I added weights to my side and a remark about how she wouldn't be much help spotting me. I told I was good for 6 and was a little shaky on the last 2 but I got'r'done.

Dumbbell chest flys. 5 sets of 10 with the heaviest weight Ive done yet.

Finished with sandball slams, 3 sets of 20 with 45 second rests.

That burnt me out today. I had a lot of heavy stuff to move at work today and I am tired but I got a great pump going in my pecs and be my heart rate up for awhile.

Thought about pushing another couple excersises but I'm shooting tomorrow and didn't want to be shaky:D

I mowed the lawn.
I trimmed two trees and 2 arborvitae and cleaned up the mess.


I ate 2 hot dogs with sauerkraut.
Now I'm gonna have a red beer................... or a nap, not sure.


I did all the things that one does before a 7.2 earthquake strikes.....

That cooked me.

Down to a record low (for the last decade) at 260.

I think my muscle gains are slowing down so I'm seeing a fat reduction on the scale finally.

Down from 285 when I started and almost as soft as it gets. I am getting that V shape back slowly now and definition in my upper body especially.


Dang gut is slow to go thougho_O
