If you get bored, something a trainer ran me thru was a ladder set. Get a lower weight then you think you can do.Switching up the routine for fun. Focusing on cardio, halving the weight lifted but doubling the reps performed. I'll tell you what, the last set burns like no other and I'm more sore than ever in the morning.

Ham/glute day today.I did four sets of deadlifts at 260lbs. I added 5lbs and did two more sets
After deadlifts I did 3x8+ of the following:
Prone leg curls
Seated leg curls
Cable leg curls
Ham/Glute kickback machine
Roman chair reps with 45lb plate
My lower back is already killing me. Good thing I am taking all next week off from resistance training.
Note to self, don't go to gym in mid to late afternoon. High schoolers take over the place.
Today is arm day.I did 5x5 of curls with ez curl bar at 87lbs for sets 1-3, then I added 5lbs and a bonus set for sets 3-6.
After ez bar curls I did 3x8+ of the following:
Assisted close grip dips
Assisted close grip pull ups
Dumbbell concentration curls
Dumbbell tricep extensions
High row machine
Bicep curl machine
Preacher curls
Assisted Wide grip dips
Assisted wide grip pull ups
That's pretty good; I do 65 with the ez bar.Today is arm day.
I am going to shoot for 92lbs on first three sets of ez bar curls today. Then I will try adding add 5lbs for sets 4 & 5.
Yes. Slowly lower the weight back down. All lifts should be lowered slowly which does much more good than the lifting portion. IF you don't believe me, ask Duane Johnson. Take it slow and grow.

The gym was absolute bedlam today with families getting their picture taken with Santa and some sort of Christmas party going on. I wish there was an old school bodybuilding gym nearby with all of the prerequisite equipment; I'd happily migrate.
Here is how far out I had to park to find a parking space. Even all of the side roads off of the property were full.

They have the best equipment around my vicinity including plenty of free weights, sauna, steam room, whirlpools, and an indoor and outdoor pools/swim lanes.
