What brand comes to mind when you think of a firearm with quality issues?

"Armi Galesi"... cheap Italian .25 cal autos. Picked up a couple on trades and none of them seem to work, so they got locked into the bottom of the safe, awaiting a "buy-back" program.

Until today I would have said Sig for the MPX. Thankfully though it fired 300+ flawless rounds after coming back from Sig. Except that my gen1 30rd mag won't feed the first rounds with anymore than ten rounds in it.

For me I always shudder when people mention Kimber. I've only shot a couple but both had non stop issues so I will likely never buy one although many guys I know own them with no issues.. Also Llama, just junk parts on the 1911s they make.
