Surprised to find this in NW Oregon! Love and miss the Klamath area!

Back from the wacky club; not bad, met some cool new people, enjoyed a few G&Ts, and now back to the suite. Going to hit it again tomorrow night when the aforementioned venue it is hopping on Saturday. (Teehee ... was able to maintain whilst there; my consort cuts me off when, quote, "your manner of speaking shifts to overly formal English, technobabble, and a bit of Spanish." To avoid said, I deliberately, when using non-English expressions, limited it to German, Latin, and one case in French. Oh, the technobabble happened, but I was talking to another programmer, so the cover was perfect. Wish me luck for the adventures on the morrow. :s0112:)

So we stopped to visit the wife's nieces in Sisters this afternoon and on the way out she has me stop in at the DQ to get a cherry slush drink. Well the drink is so damn sour (like someone dumped sour patch powder in it) that we take it back to the campground, split it into two cups, add lemon lime soda and some vodka to it..... Not too shabby..

So a few years ago .
When MacDonalds started doing the ice drinks.
I delivered the stuff to one store .
Then all the managers and some employees.
Would come to that store for training.
After hours.
Lol guess what happened.

Yep they did there training and someone said these would be great with vodka.
Mmmmmmm.
So two people got fired and others got suspended.
And so on and so on.
Yep they all got drunk drinking in the back of a MacDonald's store .

PBR and lime. Don't knock it until you try it!View attachment 609324

You sir are living my dream.
Living in Central Oregon on a nice piece of dirt, some kind of motorcycle involvement, a 2A proponent (assumed, but confident in said assumption),
and contributing to an alcohol thread..

Sigh...

Well done indeed.

Edit...even the PBR concoction sounds good.

Thank you sir. I'm not a rich man, but I have everything I could ever need and then some.

Medoyeff Starka neat. It's Vodka aged in Pinot Noir and Rye Whiskey barrels. It has a nice brandy like character with a hint of dusty oak and spices. If you like Canadian Whiskey you'd probably enjoy it.

Been alternating between Gin and Tonics and water. The Smurfish friend stuck with Coca Cola. Just got back from an insanely joyful and creative time at the private club, though I will not be explaining more than that. (Though after two nights at the casino, followed by two nights at the private club, we're thoroughly partied out. I suppose that happens once one progresses to a certain age. It is all good, my friends. :s0112:)
