Well now, if we're gonna step the culture up a notch...

Reminds me of a really dumb story.

I was on a long flight. Somebody in front of me, using their best English butler accent, asked the stewardess what they had in a white wine. Just that quickly, somebody behind me yelled, "give him some Ripple!"

Okay, back to being serious.

I thought, "what would be nice tonight?"

Went out to my garage, and found a couple of these on the shelf. I have no idea where they came from, but I thought a mellow Canadian would work well tonight.

Neat, my palate tells me there's a tiny bite, in spite of it being Canadian.

So, I'll Americanize it with ice, and serve it in my favorite O'Mara's glass.

Much better. But I'll have to try this stuff again another time. Tonight it was like Canadian Whiskey with a splash of Scotch.:s0059:

I really can't imagine that. Funny how tastebuds sometimes play tricks on you.

I'll start us off this weekend...

Was grillin' cheeseburgers and roasted corn-on-the-cob on the barby tonight, and wanted something a bit more refreshing than porter.

Soooooooo... Campari Negroni is the order of the day!
