Have a few Green Blob bipods we've used for over 2 years.

These guys here:

Recommend, but some minor issues.

Have added slip on rubber pads we had around, IIRC swiped the pads from some cheapo camera tripods we had around which had not seen use in years. Not needed for prone, or if you use some type of less slip matting when shooting from a bench.

The hand tighten plastic adjuster for horizontal cant/tilt doesn't quit tighten enough to remove cant. Supposedly can be upgraded/modified with a better screw...never bothered.

Have one of them on a gun which has seen a few thousand rounds since install, still like it. Swap it out every once in a while too. QR is pretty decent, not high end decent (Larue Tactictal/ Bobro etc), but good enough. QR had loosened up a few times when first put into use, until got used to how tight it needs be.

I wouldn't run one of these on anything bigger than 5.56/.300 blackout, but YMMV.

Have a few of the Magpuls as well. Really like them, but I'd recommend waiting a bit on them. Magpul seems to upgrade there stuff quite a bit over time. Could get earlier version of stuff for less $, or the new improved stuff. These could use some minor tweaking/upgrades I figure.

Biggest upgrade they could do which comes to mind is folding either way for stowage. Currently only fold forward, not that big of a deal, but would just make for better/easier transport on the guns we have them on. Still pretty nice for what they are tho.
