With ammo being hard to find what calibers and or bullet styles are you looking? what prices are fair?
Nothing.

I do not need any ammunition.

My husband does not need any ammo. He reloads - I do not reload.

I only shoot 22lr and 22wmr rifles and we have enough RF ammo here at home for both of us.

Prices will vary depending on where you shop. I do believe that all factory ammunition will increase in cost due to our U.S. Dollar going down the toilet with a great big flush. And I am not talking about the fake/real shortages and THOSE prices now - I am talking about the VALUE and purchasing power of the DOLLAR.

Some prices did come down a bit but that will not last long with ALL things going up from A to Z. It will get worse.

You may be able to find some fair prices and good deals dealing with private sellers here on THIS forum and elsewhere where people are downsizing, estate sales, moving sales, garage sales, etc.

A friend of mine died recently, back east, and his only child will be selling most of his firearms, factory ammunition, reloading stock, etc. The relatives on HIS side of the family will help the adult child sort through ALL of it and most likely they will buy most of it and some of his fellow LE coworkers. He had not retired yet from LE work. The only child will not have to put up an ad to sell all of that STUFF. He had quite a bit of GUN stuff and he was a 'shooter' not a collector type of a man.

May he rest in peace. He was a good man.

Best wishes to you and others on the forum who need and want ammunition.

380 range ammo. Frangible polycopper ammo in 380 9mm and 223.
I Know the Lincoln City Sporting Goods had a good selection of 380 in FMJ and JHP
.308,....I realize it's somewhat available but I would like to bulk purchase 1K-2K rounds and a better price than it's going for now.

.45

.223 A decent deal on 1K-2K.

Other than that I am fairly well set.
Lincoln City Sporting Goods has some 500rd boxes of 7.62x51, lots of 45 FMJ and JHP. And of the 223, about 4-5 1k cases left of PMC Brass.
22 Hornet :(
I Saw a few boxes at the Lincoln City Sporting Goods the other day, I'm going back tomorrow and can check if they still have some.

The Shop in Lincoln City has a ton of ammo in, I don't work there but I do help out alot there...

I'm always looking for subsonic .300 Blackout and 5.7x28 ammo
Don't think I saw any subsonic 300bo have to check the grains but i believe i saw 3 cases of 500 available, at the shop in Lincoln City. I believe there is about 1000rds of 5.7x28 left after someone bought the 2 other cases of it last Saturday. That 5.7x28 goes fast...

.22LR , not too picky here...have a few different types of .22 rifles...what one doesn't like the other ones will...:D

.45ACP , 230 grain

And 20 gauge 2 3/4 lead , #6 and #7 1/2

As far as prices go...
I know the days of less than $20 for a 500 round brick of .22 are long gone...
I still am amazed at the price jump for ammo across the board for all calibers and gauges.

Not sure what I consider as too high of a price for ammo...
Other than much like that infamous definition of porn :
But I know it when I see it....:D

I would say a lot of ammo is not hard to find. The NWFA ammo classifieds are growing longer everyday. It's almost 700 pages long this morning. I haven't been in the retail stores but ammo is everywhere online.

Lincoln City Sporting Goods, has quite a few bricks left of .22lr, high velocity and subsonic/quiet. 200rd milk cartons of quiet, 250/500 bricks loose pack 40/38gr ammo. Bricks 21gr copper polymer 1850fps, and a few other bricks like armscore...

(I know their .22cal decently as I try and grab a couple 50rd or occasional bricks everytime I visit)

I'll have to check their 45acp for 230gr. I think I saw some the other day, they have about 6 different kinds of just FMJ, more diversity in JHP.

They have a decent little stock of 20ga, I'll check and see if they have what your looking for, I'll be over there later this morning.

Thank you and I appreciate the "being on the look out for me ".
However....
Lincoln City is a ways away from La Conner Washington....:D

It sure is! I had to Google La Conner.

I noticed on your list of shopping items you didn't have any black powder supplies. Are you having any trouble getting black powder, balls, or percussion caps? For the first time in a few years, my son and I took the TC Hawken and Pietta revolver out and smoked things up pretty good. A friend told me to go easy because his neighbor (who owns The Gun Works in Springfield) said she is having trouble getting caps.

Yep...
Caps and powder are difficult to come by today for sure.
Lots of demand...and with GOEX gone under ...yikes.

That said....
I have seen more caps in my area available...and ESTES of model rocket fame bought GOEX so hopefully production resumes soon.

Might be in the market for some 20 ga. target rounds.
I think my local mall fart sells cases of a hundred for something like $25.
Not bad, but a few years ago, they were under $20.
