I have two "calibers" I am keeping my eye on, mostly for the price to come down:
.308/7.62x51 - defensive/hunting ammo (i.e., expanding) - I only have about 2K rounds, I would like to at least double that.
9x19 defensive & ball. I only have less than 3K rounds. I would like to get about 2K of 124 gr. ball, and about 2K of 124 gr HP.
Other than that, I am good, although there are a few calibers where if there were a really good deal, I would buy more, but some where I have passed on good deals because I feel I have plenty of those.
I do want to get some specialty .22 rimfire (match and subsonic match grade - both in hollow point) - but the price doubled on those after I determined which I wanted and hasn't come back down.
Uh huh.
I have some, should dig it out and put it up for sale, most of a box of 200gr Silvertip rounds, and a bunch of loose rounds..348 winchester, I would happily pay $3 per round if I could find it new.
Totally worth it! I've been making my own 7.7 brass for nearly nothing, using .30-06 range brass, sizing it through a 7.7 die, and fireforming. Any medium-faster burning rifle powder works great! Uses 303 (.311-312) diameter bullets..30 Remington and 7.7 Jap are the 2 I'm having serious issues with.
I'm cheap, I'm not willing to pay more than .50c per round. I really need to start reloading.
I was just thinking about a .30 Remington the other day..30 Remington and 7.7 Jap are the 2 I'm having serious issues with.

New production 30-30 is a buck fifty a round anymore. Does that take the sting out a little?6.5x55 Swede, preferably Prvi since the ballistics are so much flatter than S&B, but can't find it for under $2/rd.
If I shot 30-30, perhaps. Just frustrating when the stuff I have was purchased at < $0.75/rd.New production 30-30 is a buck fifty a round anymore. Does that take the sting out a little?
