What is the model number????

Western Field was a store brand name, for instance one Western Field lever action .30-30 was really a Marlin 336.

If you have the model number, try looking it up at Gun Parts, (Numrich.)

They have schematics and you can figure out what part you are missing, (or not.)

I had a Western Field 30-30 and it was a Mossberg 679 design. The trigger stayed with the lever when you operated the action.

Are you saying that the Cartridge Elevator is missing? or Cartridge Stop is missing? Or Both?
If so We must know the name and model of the gun, you may need to take off the part of the Stock to see if there are any stampings under it. This make help to ID Maker.

Oops, well at least we have a record of it if it ever happens to come up again. The rifle was made by Marlin for Montgomery Ward. Unlike other store brand Marlins, this model had walnut stocks instead of birch..
