Well Morpheus, it goes deeper than that, we the people did not want this kind of a bill (we are happy with what we have), our legislators (all Democrats) did not even read the damn thing, it morphed (no pun intended...) from 2,400 pages to more than 20,000 pages (so they could ad anything they wanted), if we do not want any HC then we are fined $$$ and it has been a complete failure from the start.
It has and will continue to cost us, our children, our grandchildren and our grandchildren's children way too much $$$$ already, where will it stop???
I for one will celebrate the day it is repealed because it is the beginning of a Socialistic republic, which many Americans will fight to the death against Tyranny!!!!!!

So apparently some people did agree with it, just not all the people. Which is kind of downside of living in a democratic republic. Several bills have been passed which I don't agree with, and several have been passed I do agree with it.

On this one specific, it did morph a great deal. The original bill, which I did read, wasn't horrible. Not great, but a hell of a lot better than the one it bloated into. Much of that bloat was injected during the compromise process which was a joke. It passed due to the Democrats having the majority in both the house and senate. Of course, now with a split senate and house, it has been almost impossible to pass or repeal anything. This encourages my feeling that a split house/senate is excellent and brings change to almost zero. While they can't improve anything, they can't break anything else. But I digress.

I would pose this question, if Obamacare is so horrible then should we not also remove medicare, medicade, and social security? Personally, if we are going to remove these government programs which drain resources from our future, then we must forget our past. IE Our parents and grand parents. If we won't give those who can't afford medical coverage to those from age 0 to 65, then why do we give those over 65 any? Shouldn't we force the families of those people to take care of their parents and grand parents? And if those families can't afford it, well mama, papa, grandma and grandpa should have planned better for their own retirement.

I say this with much tongue in cheek, but at the same time why do so many people draw this line? It is OK to figure out a way to provide health care to those who are under 65, but if you are over 65 I have to foot your bill? How does that make sense?

Why not at least make things harder for the Guberment. Claim nine or 10 dependents until tax time comes around and then just pay the taxes that are due not more like most people do. In other words pay once a year.

Remember when Obummer first ran and said one of the things he wanted to achieve was wealth redistribution? This obummercare crap is just one of the cogs in that wheel.

As for this "commercial". It makes me want to throw up every time I see it or pass one of those stupid billboards. This whole campaign is nothing more than the left "spiking the ball" in celebration of getting this rammed down our throats.
Right you are. Wealth redistribution. Lets make the middle class poor, the poor even poorer, all the while completely unaffecting the rich. Good job obama, good job voters for not seeing this. I for one do not enjoy being more broke as the years pass. I give plenty of money out to help people not wa well off as me. I reserve the right of choice as far as whom it goes to and how much.
