I think currently the law is you cant sell it unless you have it and only then if you price it at somewhat less than the equivalent weight in gold
 
The law is if you make any money on it you're a scalper. It's crazy, in any other market if you gain money you're doing something good, but with guns and ammo, you're a scalper.
 
If you bought .22 ammo that you had no intention of shooting (or accidently bought more than you needed) and are just looking to sell for a profit; why not hang on to it a while longer? You have a solid investment.
