Cannot Reproduce Weird "X" button!

The only red'X' is see is in the alerts
Also, when uploading an image the 'Insert' link is not immediately apparent and overlaid on the attachment thumbnail like before. I have to touch the 'attachments' icon, then the 'Insert' appears on the thumbnail.

Weird... I'm on a laptop, Windows 10 (v21h2), running Chrome (v103.0.5060.53), and there's no 'X' whatsoever when I go to my Alerts...
