Weatherby mark v classic mark 2

i have an opportunity to buy a Weatherby Mark V Classic Mark II. It is a 9 lug bolt, Japan made. in 30-06. overall in good condition probably 80%. there asking $850. ive looked up as much as i can but not sure on an accurate valuation. Any info or opinion's would be appreciated.

With that kind of cash you could pick up a beautiful M-70 controlled feed stainless feather weight classic on wood,,,
But then again, you already have a gorgeous one in -06 as I recall

Damn nice rifles, 850 is a tad high for one in 80 percent condition imho. Personally I would hold out for a magnum. Either way you go you would be getting a very strong bolt action. When introduced touted as the strongest bolt action ever.

Without seeing it, in 80% condition, I would think 600-650 would be more in line. The 850 and above mark is usually what the U.S. made ones bring to the table.

gotcha, yeah thats what im thinking now. appreciate the input. the thing is , i dont need another 30-06,however the reciever would make for a nice build.
