I’m sure it’s happened before but these are two interesting stories.

The Oregon one is because the employer called the cops who then arrested the guy and sent him to a
mental hospital for ‘evaluation’ because they wanted to. He had done nothing illegal.

The Arizona one is because the town citizen thought the city councilman was corrupt. The councilman
is nicknamed ‘machinegun’ because of his statements in open session about mowing down his opponents.
The citizen, not the councilman, was arrested and had his guns confiscated.
