I don't know about the rest of you guys, but every now and then I get stressed out when hear that The Brady Campaign said this, or some local government agency is trying to do that... I get all upset and stressed out.

Good video. With the progress made in the last several years with gun laws and the fact that public opinion clearly supports the 2A I believe progress will continue and firmly believe that gun control is a losing political issue. I don't see it being an issue after the upcoming POTUS election.

I agree that we've had some excellent gains in recent years. We're also experiencing a 'normalizing' of gun ownership that wasn't present in years past. With all these firearm shows on television, many people are realizing that responsible gun ownership is a lot of fun, and the lies they've been told about responsible gun owners are just that. I can't tell you how many more people have approached me about going shooting after watching Sons of Guns or those other shows on Discovery and other channels.

While all this is great, we cannot let our guard down. Stay vigilant my friends

Snopes has no vested interest in skewing the truth one way or the other. The NRA on the other hand has a vested interest in making sure the pot is stirred reularly. If you don't want to believe Snopes that's fine but if you think the NRA is a bastion of truth then I have some ocean front property in Arizona I'd like you to take a look at.

Oh, I don't much trust or like the NRA and I'm sick of their constant trolling for money. They've also sold us out at times too. However, they're the biggest dog in the fight that's on our side.

I'm a member of GOA, GOC, the SAF, the Calguns Foundation and just joined the Oregon Firearms Federation. I believe I need to support those fighting the good fight.

As far as that property, no thanks. We bought a place in Oregon.
