M855 Winchester 5.56 223 USGI Crate 1680 Rounds purchased a year ago from gun dealer. Stored in my gun safe in closet with moisture control. New never opened wooden crate with all factory seals. Very rare M855 for military. This lot was sold by Collins Cartridge Company in '06-'07 and is USGI A059 combat packaged M855. Note, this is NOT XM855 but true M855 issued to the military.

The only retail M855 (LC) to buy right now is at CTD for $1.01 a round!

"Ammo 5.56x45mm Military Lake City M855 SS109 1000 Round Loose Bulk Pack, 62 grain Penetrator
Our Low Price: $1,019.97"

$1,400 cash only

XM855 vs. M855

The public, through a Clinton Exec Order, can no longer get first tier military surplus ammo.

Instead, when the military rejects a "lot" of ammo it is designated with an "X" and then can be sold to the public, "X" on ammo means that it did not meet Mil Spec for weight, velocity, etc...

On GB when you see a bulk lot of LC M855, it is really XM855, factory seconds.
