Way more in-town gun shooting this 4th of july

Ar-15 yesterday with 30 round mag. What sounded like a 9mm? or 380? today with about 15 rounds. Two different locations. In past years this didn't happen in town. On the night of the 4th you would hear the odd gunshot but his is blatant and during the day.

I assume these are new gun owners? I just hope they are not shooting up in the air. PDX police and sheriff radio is encrypted now due to protest violence so you can't listen in to police happenings anymore. Sure would like to know if these rounds are coming down on anyone.
