When was the last time the Willamette River ran dry? Wilsonville switched from well water to Willamette River water and hasn't looked back. It cost us though. Filtering that stuff ain't cheap. Columbia River has plenty of water for the Metro area. The SW part of the country is screwed until the drought conditions loosen up. 100+ year long droughts are common down there so they may be struggling for a while. Musk can solve it.
Two words: "Desalination Plants." Israel can do it, why can't Commiefornia other than it would slow their devolution into Turd Whirled Shizzhole?

Smart countries are doing this. The only reason to NOT provide a source of fresh water to your 1st world subjects? I can only come up with 1 reason- to use it as a tool.

Yeah - to raise taxes. No plan to do anything with the money except line their pockets - but everyone needs water so it can be held hostage...
Kinda like the new 'climate control' tax Oregon just passed :mad::(:eek:
