Only one bottle of powder on the bench surface at a time, leave it there while powder is in the powder measure, put it away when done with it.
I always label the hopper with what powder (well, unless it's Red Dot which I use a lot of) is in it too.. and what it's set to throw with that powder.
 
Dont get in a hurry!

I was in a hurry. I combined two groups of brass to make 100 308 rounds.

One group had about 20 that hadn't had the second neck resizing after the trim and deburr.

They felt different when the bullets were seated.

They were set aside for close range speed practice.
 
Weigh the new powder bottle and make sure your powder dropper is calibrated to that density.

Don't ask.
