The only thing I can come up with on that one would be to disassemble your receivers from their uppers and store them securely apart. That way it would be harder to make a case that a functional firearm was stolen (unless they find those as well).

It's the same bill, they just carried it over to this legislative session.

I would worry that your reps are eyeballing this bill and the others, as there seems to be that the left coast dems want to out-progressive each other (first state to true socialism/communism wins), so you may be the recipient of something worse than we are fighting up here.

True Ray and by some strange chance that they are shamed by the law abiding gun owners into not passing these draconic unconstitutional laws we will for sure have a tough battle if these are pushed into the initiative process.

Very true. I'm just not so sure that they will try to put the AWB and possibly the mag ban in front of the voters, as those two may embarrass them if put in front of the voters (especially with the recent trend of many on the left arming themselves because they are scared of Trump).

Now some of the others, like the storage bill................... would most likely be passed in the exact same way that I594 and I1491 did: Bought and paid for by Bloomberg, Gates, Allen and Hanauer.

Not related to the anti gun push, the DOJ and Homeland are going to go after the Cities and States Leaders who refuse to enforce Fed Immigration laws and have sanctuary city/state status! I got wet panties thinking of all the Dem Libs about to get tossed in jail for failing to uphold Fed law! Now, think for a min here, those same City and State leaders are the same ones going after the gun laws, so, they get tossed in the klink, we get a chance to undo the whole system under those azzclowns!
What I'm waiting to see is if/when they go after the bizzillianares and toss them in the klink along side there bought and paid for brethren! Oh Happy days My Friend, Oh happy days!!!!

It's been done before. It was called a poll tax. This is a tax that you had to pay to get a little certificate to show you paid it so you could vote. It was put in place after the war between the states to keep black folks from voting, as most were living in extreme poverty and couldn't afford to pay the tax.

I remember my parents going to the court house to pay their poll tax before each election. This would have been in the late 1950s in Arkansas.
