I have a bubblegum load of 257 weatherby and 7 weatherby brass in nickle. Is this brass from federal that bad that they dumped it for pennies a brass?

Why, did you get it for "pennies a brass" or something?

Yup, the server computer brain searches for politically incorrect words and substitutes with a word that one scrapes off the sole of one's shoe.

Nickel stays shiny, doesn't tarnish when you handle it.
But nickel is harder than brass and can scratch a standard reloading die.
    More info at this link

    Some folks discard nickel brass.
I don't. Make sure you lube it real good before sizing, or it sticks.

Probably doesn't serve you well to sign up as a member today and start insulting what you assume is the 'mod's' doing.

I have ~100 Federal nickel brass in 300 RUM. Rick Benjamin is spot on - it's a harder surface, needs more lube, and IMO is harder to reload. I haven't had to anneal it yet. I recommend you Clean/Tumble before you try to resize it, and lube the WHOLE case - I find the DIY lanolin lube works better than Imperial wax. If you don't get your lube right, in my experience, the nickel plus carbon makes it stick in your die very nicely (see a post of mine on extracting a stuck case).
I can definitely say it looks purdy loaded, and doesn't corrode at all. Still, I don't reload to make pretty bullets.
I can sense that you're PO'd. Perhaps a bit more explanation on why you are so? I mean, it's brass. Dude, chock it up as a bad choice, trade it for something and don't buy it again. If you're particular about your brass, I'd suggest you try Nosler, Lapua or Norma brands. Can't go wrong with any of those.
As far as the bubblegumming replacement for sailors' language, lots of good reasons why it's done. Hey, they could use a replacement word like supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.

I'm thinking it's less about peoples lack of balls and more your lack of being able to communicate concisely.

I have no idea what your asking or your point...

I had a barrel made by a very renowned top of the line maker in Idaho in a 257 and m77 action> will nickel 7 weatherby brass handle being sized down to 257? or should I sell 500 brass and go to norma?

When you signed up for the forum yesterday, you would have had to agree to the Terms of Service and the Community Rules for the forum - I'm guessing you didn't read them? The 'bubblegum' filter is automatic and will take out any word that is on the no go list - no mods needed for that function.

Here are the terms and rules if you missed them:
