Yup. I've punched right through berdan primed cases with no damage to the decapper.squirrel daddy decaping pins in a Lee universal die are what I use.
How weird, we get cases from Europe which are utter trash and then you have companies like Lapua putting out some of the best???No wonder their stuff's so cheap and available...

And 22 shells stuck in the bottom of cases.Yup. I've punched right through berdan primed cases with no damage to the decapper.
Where did I say a word about politics? I was just noting what the headstamp meant from a cartridge-collector website, and observing that the problems in this thread are probably part of why I've been seeing Igman available when other ammo isn't, or running cheaper per round.Dude I think you tapped into the wrong thread. No politics on here?
How is this Politics?Dude I think you tapped into the wrong thread. No politics on here?
I've learned to use a dedicated heavy duty decapping die on military brass, especially anything that has crimped and or primer sealant.
I have had that happen a couple of times. And 22 shells stuck in the bottom of cases.
Or a case, inside of a case. 9mm inside a 40 S&W. There are others I'm sure. And 22 shells stuck in the bottom of cases.

Completely agree with above. Lee's pins bend and break if you look at them, and thus suck. The hardened aftermarket ones totally rock.squirrel daddy decaping pins in a Lee universal die are what I use.
Works great based on videos I've seen. Excellent way to deprime berdan cases.I'd be curious how hydraulic depriming would work...

I had to look for "lead free" primers at the start of the pandemic, i.e. no lead styphnate, and the only ones that *could* be found in the US were Berdan type.Yeah....try finding the correct primer in America.
Yes it does. I have done this on 1000s of rounds of early Blazer aluminum 9mm & .45 brass.Works great based on videos I've seen. Excellent way to deprime berdan cases.
You've reloaded Blazer aluminum cases...?!?Yes it does. I have done this on 100s of rounds of early Blazer aluminum 9mm & .45 brass.
