Yup. I've punched right through berdan primed cases with no damage to the decapper.

How weird, we get cases from Europe which are utter trash and then you have companies like Lapua putting out some of the best???

Where did I say a word about politics? I was just noting what the headstamp meant from a cartridge-collector website, and observing that the problems in this thread are probably part of why I've been seeing Igman available when other ammo isn't, or running cheaper per round.

This ! All my de-capping is a separate operation ... Much heart ache has been saved for me using a Lee universal de-capping die

I've learned to use a dedicated heavy duty decapping die on military brass, especially anything that has crimped and or primer sealant.

Completely agree with above. Lee's pins bend and break if you look at them, and thus suck. The hardened aftermarket ones totally rock.

I had to look for "lead free" primers at the start of the pandemic, i.e. no lead styphnate, and the only ones that *could* be found in the US were Berdan type.
