357 maximum brass wanted.
That is a hard find today. 357 brass will also work for lighter loads until someone makes it again, which is special run only kind of brass since metallic silhouette pretty much died.
Remington and Starr brass have been the manufacturers. You might give them a call and see when, if ever, they will make some again. Used? Fogedaboudit.
I wanted to try it out in my Contender, but it's almost impossible to find. The 357 magnum brass works fine loaded hot with the bullet not fully seated. I think the maximum is a great caliber and I've heard it may be making a comeback.
I see Max brass for sale on the cast boolits site now and then ,I suspect a WTB on there would get some results.
I had a contender last year in that caliber, what a HOOT to shoot !
are you on facebook ? there is a swapping and selling page there, and a fella just told me he can get max brass,32.00/hundred plus shipping.
his name is Bill Stoldt, this is his email.
He can have it to you in about a week or so after receiving funds. He has many happy customers on the facebook gun-related pages. The page I'm refering to is called Reloading supplies shop and swap. Hope this helps, fwiw I'd order from him based on his fb rep.
glad to help, hope it works out.fun cartridge to shoot.whacked the crap out of my steel even at 150 yards.
I have some 180 gr silhouette bullets, if you are interested. They are not made anymore, either.
Are you still looking for some?
Throckmorton gave me a great lead, and I bought 200 new Remington cases from
Bill Stoldt (see above). Bill was a great person to deal with. He still has some max brass available.
Ok.. great. Glad you found some.
Now I'm looking for some new or fired 45-70 brass.
