The Smith and Wesson model 41 is the competition pistol built for bullseye. The 41 is the top of the line expensive pistol. I own and have owned several different 22 pistols made by Ruger. 22/45 5.5 inch bull barrel & target models. In my opinion the Rugers are some of the best 22's made.

or you could step up and get a Hamerli, Pardini, Benelli, or a TOZ. They make the S&W and the Ruger look like crap.
"Bullseye" is a nice amateur competition. Try Olympic style slow fire matches.
