Want help picking out sights for new Mossberg

Good Morning I just picked up one of these
MOSSBERG 12GA. STANDOFF

It is a mossberg 50586 and I want to add a rear ghost ring and either a ramp or fiber optic sight to the front.

Does anyone know of a ramp or fiber optic that can replace the what appears to be screwed into the barrel front sight?

I have the Maverick, which is a similar gun without the cool options. I'm interested in ghost ring set up, too.

Why are you even concerned about a sight for something
that will most likely be fired from the hip?
If I used something like that, I would be more concerned
about a sight snagging on things.

Because I already have the butt-stock I am going to have on this shotgun picked up, just waiting to order till I fight sights in case I order everything from same place (aka save on shipping)

Already have another shotty with a pistol grip, don't see much need for two

I have no use for a pistol grip shotgun, but I sure have a use for the ghost ring sights!

Get a barrel with a sight and then get the rear sight that attaches by mounting a 1913 rain to the top of the receiver.

The ghost ring sights aren't all they are cracked up to be. Had them on a 590A1 and they are tall, cumbersome and prone to snagging.



My $.02:
Replace the bead with a fiber dot.

I'd love to have a nice ghost ring setup on my mossy but just snapped one of these on years ago and called it good.. it works well enough for me and about $5.

Ati makes heat shields that come with sights attached. Not sure how good they are as I haven't bought one yet.
