I have been carrying my Walther P99 Final Edition in 9mm for months now after YEARS of carry my Glock 23 and I am never going back! The P99 is lighter and the trigger is smooth like butter. It's also extremely accurate, durable, and love how you as a shooter can have it in double action with a heavier trigger pull for those guys too scared of carrying one in the chamber. I m officially in love with my P99 and see why it was one of James Bond's go to guns!

I competed with one of those in IDPA back in the day. Be careful with your rear sight, always check it before you holster your gun. They can unscrew themselves and come apart at the inopportune moment. I also still have some Gen 1 and Gen 2 hi cap mags still. Let me know if you're interested before the 29th. I don't have the gun anymore. After the P99 I went to a custom Browning High Power.

When did a plastic gun get associated with 007?
In "Tomorrow Never Dies".

I like the one Walther pistol I have.

I wouldn't mind acquiring some others.

I like my Glock and always say carry what you like and not what's the most popular.

I bought one of these prior to the "final edition" branding being slapped on the slide. I don't shoot it often because its kind of novelty at this point with them no longer being in production. I shoot maybe 25 rounds a year through it and the trigger is incredibly smooth. For those unaware of how the gun works, its a striker fired handgun but also has a decocking mechanism. It functions a lot like a DA/SA handgun. The first trigger pull will be long (DA), but the follow up trigger pulls will basically be like a hair trigger (SA). It's a very interesting design.

James Bonds go to gun was and always will be the original Walther PPK. But then again the Bond series should have ended respectively with Roger Moores era, movies end all credibility when they try to extend the realistic life span of their heros and the rest is just moneymaking nonsense that never lives up to the originals.

I cant recall if its the same model but the rear sight on my friends Walther had to be sent back to the factory from just a simple attempt to adjust windage jammed the whole thing up. I cant recall the details but its not a strong rear sight design.

It's a fictional character, relax.

You must be so fun at parties
