WA to OR FTF long gun purchase ?

I know I can't buy a handgun from a WA state resident without going thru an FFL, but can I buy a long gun FTF from a WA resident FTF with me being an OR resident FTF without going thru an FFL?

I know some states have agreements that contiguous state residents can purchase long guns from FFL's in those contiguous states, but can OR residents purchase a long gun FTF from a WA resident FTF without going thru an FFL.

Forgive me if my use of the word contiguous is improper. It's late, and the dictionary section in my brain is almost in sleep mode.

No. You cannot buy a gun from a WA resident face to face.

FTF or not I was under the impression you couldnt transfer to another buyer from out of state under any cercumstances unless done at a gune dealer where BG checks were done..

That is correct. ALL interstate gun transfers have to go throgh a FFL.
