WHAT:
Come learn and use a suppressor (aka silencer or also called a "can"). We'll have vendors and privately owned suppressors for demo. Shoot and hear the difference and talk to folks on "How To" and what to get.

Forget the movies... actually hear for youself what real suppressor's sound like and shoot some too!

Note: Come early and watch the USPSA Area 1 Championship Match in the Action Bays from 9-5pm
Area 1

All Non Members of RF&GC: Please check in with the Shotgun Club House (Main club house as you enter the Club). Pay the range fee ($12) and proceed to the rifle and pistol ranges.

FYI: Parking will be limited so you may have to walk to the ranges. We'll have signs. While you walk stop by the USPSA Championship match and see what they do here at Renton Fish and Game... Ear and eye protection is required. Non members please make sure you sign a waiver. Waivers are available online at The domain name RFGC.COM.

If you have any questions please contact me via <broken link removed>

Also I will update this thread to include what vendors and what items they will be tentatively bringing to the shoot.

All updates will be posted to this thread at WaGuns.org - View topic - Suppressor Shoot at Renton Fish and Game Club July 24, 2011

Please also know that there will be a suppressor shoot on Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Kitsap Rifle and Revolver. WaGuns.org - View topic - Western WA KRRC Silencer Shoot

HB 1016 takes effect on Friday, July 22, 2011. Please check with your range if they will allow suppressor use as each facility will have to come to terms on how to deal with this "new accessory."

At Renton Fish and Game Club - you are good to go (for legally owned....)

The list is growing, but <broken link removed> and <broken link removed> being the two main SOT Vendors so far. Gemtech, Silencerco are coming for sure and we have a few still to be nailed down commitments from a few smaller mfg's in Arizona.

I assume you represent AAC? If you are interested in participating, please email me; [email protected] or the Event Coordinator (oldkim) here - <broken link removed>

Is that just for the USPSA if you stop by or is that for the Silencer shoot too?

Well, there will be other live fire nearby. Safety first, ya know? Side by side comparisons of suppressed vs. non suppressed will be taking place.

AAC just let us know that a rep will be at the shoot as well!!! That puts Gemtech, AAC and Silencerco as the current mfg's who will be in attendance and with toys for people to play with. Coctailer (Ortwein International) and Chip (Cascade Arsenal) will be 2 of the SOT's there as well.
