WA / OR rifle and c&r

To add an additional wrinkle to a complicated situation,

I'm getting a C&R rifle from an OR resident.
He's getting an Over under shotgun from me.

Can I use my c&r or as the transfers in OR does OR law not allow this? Any other hangups?

So I broke down and called the ATF and they said its good to go of the gun is in WA at the time of transfer. I didnt ask about the other way around. Might be helpful for you folks on the border.
