I am seeking to get into the competitive shooting scene, I am kind of lost as to where I should begin. I want to do 3-gun/IDPA (entry level) and am unclear on where I can go. there are no matches in my immediate area so I turn to the online community to help a brother out.

I should also say I live in Jefferson county and I am willing to travel s far as Tacoma to the south and Everett to the north and port angeles to the west.

There is a 3 gun match on June 22nd in Yakima.

To start competing check out a "steel challenge". Pretty simple, no movements or times reloads (unless you run out of ammo on a string).
