The Violence Policy Center regularly puts out these ... charges in a report called "Concealed Carry Killers." ... "that concealed-carry permits were responsible for <broken link removed> .

But how does it claim to arrive at these numbers?

How many of these people were found guilty?
How many had a hearing and went home?
How many went home and never even had a hearing about the homicides?

I would suspect that most of these 636 people are lighter in the wallet and still have their gun rights.
Probably didn't get the guns back yet but you get my point.

Isn't that like a yearly number for homicides in some cities?
