I just wanted to put a compliment out for Vortex's Warranty Dept. Recently I had to send a scope in because another shooter's kid, thru a tantrum and grabbed my scope off the bench and chucked it on the ground while I had stepped away. Another shooter down the line had pointed it out to me, and when I went to speak with the dad, he had loaded up and taken off, lickety split. (Super Mature, Great Parenting example)
Long story short the lil 1-6, was dead, cracked glass, smashed housing. Called Vortex, and having used their support before I expected it to go well, but they completely replaced the old first gen scope with the current Gen2 and sent it back. Absolutely Excellent Service.
