Before I got into guns I thought Ruger and Luger where the same because of those old ads. (they look kind of similar) For for longest time I was confused why an American firearm company was supplying pistols to the Nazi's. The Ruger Luger!

I remember these ads well when I was a kid growing up. Used to dream about what I would order if I had the money, of course I couldn't afford any of them even at the seemingly low prices.

When I was a kid it was always wanted one of the "Western Haig" pistols sold in the back of comic books for a couple dollars.

Finally got one on Ebay a couple years ago for $60
