This is a vintage 1979 Smith & Wesson 19-4 revolver in .357 Magnum caliber with the blued steel finish and original wood grips and the 4" barrel.
The gun is in spectacular condition, with mirror-like steel surfaces, no scratches or nicks at all anywhere on the body, and wood grips that are pristine.
This is a pinned barrel and recessed cylinder revolver that has likely never been fired much, if at all, given its remarkable condition. It has the target trigger and target hammer, likely options chosen when it was ordered and manufactured.
The cylinder shows barely any use at all and only a very faint drag line inside the frame - most likely this was a collector's gun for a long time, and never holstered or carried. The hammer and cylinder action is very tight and precise.
The gun comes with an original Smith & Wesson presentation box that is also in mint condition.
Check the photos - this is a must-see in person gun - it's very hard to get good photos of the blued steel in this condition because it's so clean and shiny that the light just bounces all over!
For a collector or showing-off at the range - this is one special piece! Guaranteed you'll handle it and fall in love (I did - but it's time to let someone else enjoy this one!). Own a piece of history!
Can meet FTF in metro Portland for FFL transfer.
