Note: this is from a friend of mine, a fellow officer and a borderline gentleman. These are his words with one edit of mine. Happy veterans day from me to my Brothers and Sisters in arms. His words follow.

Happy Veteran's ****** Day, brother. We are the spearpoint and the last defending wall of man's one shot at being free. We are the true 1%'ers. Fraternal Order of Sword and Shield, against all. It's our own jihad; our own Crusade, and we do it selflessly, lock step, over the berm and in the Soldier's ****. Thank God there are true warriors like you on my left, armed to the teeth and committed to the our way of life. /salute. Out here.
