a CHL, not for carrying. What an awful way to treat this fine vet and to trash our constitutional rights-

Apology? She wants an apology? Or his resignation? How about a lawsuit? This woman is not only a Army Veteran, but a law abiding citizen who went out of her way to take additional steps to prove she was a "good guy".

Of course, a law suit might show other reasons that this mother would be refused access to her own child's school. A publicly owned and operated building. Those reasons could be positive or negative for her case. But there has to be some sort of legal action allowed here.

Until the principle and the school board that hired him are punished they will continue to feel they can do whatever they desire for the "public good"

Yeah, there MUST be more to this story. Even an extreme left gun hating School Principal would use more discretion than that. Principal did screw up bringing the carry permit into the issue of whether woman should be allowed in the school though. Disruptive or disagreeing? Some school admins think they mean the same thing. A lot of parents can be jerks too so who knows on this one.

Un-education and fear controls. this women not only served her country, she was able to pass the necessary state requirements for carry a firearm concealed. Is she really the type of person they should be worried about? Its all about the assault the law abiding citizens. It is not easy to get Firearms out of criminals hands, that takes work. One of the reports I read stated that she was a volunteer with the school before the principal went overboard. I don't think she would have been a volunteer long if she was disruptive. I'm not sure how much disagreeing she would have to do to be asked to not volunteer.

I don't understand the police officer position for asking her to leave, he does not answer to the principal, he is to up hold the law for everyone.
