Selling an ORIGINAL old Japanese Wakizashi.
Not sure how old,but I believe it to be an older (1500s-1700s) blade retrofitted with later (1800s ) mountings.
Tang has not been cleaned,and it is unsigned.
Tip is broken off,and the blade needs to be polished.
Someone has tried polishing it,possibly with a file or grinder but it isn't too bad.I think a professional can polish it out.
Scabbard is a modified original WW2 metal officers model.I found the scabbard in a scrap pile.Unfortunately the top was rusted away,so it has been shortened to fit this sword.
I have several others,and need $ for another large purchase,so this guy must go.
